About Daniel:

Daniel Myers is a Portland-based baritone who studied voice at the University of North Texas under the guidance of tenors Richard Croft and William Joyner. Lauded for his clarity of tone and rich interpretation, Daniel enthralls audiences with his stirring expression and staggering versatility. He has appeared with organizations such as Cappella Romana, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Dallas Chamber Choir, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, and Opera Theatre of St. Louis.


Locally, Daniel is deeply committed to the music community of the Northwest where he actively engages in educational outreach and concerts across the region as a performer, clinician, and coach, as well as being a long-time singer at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.


In 2020, Daniel was diagnosed with brain cancer. Since his diagnosis, he has endeavored to continue to make music and even support cancer research. Daniel works on projects with the University of Colorado and Yale University where he is a leader in advocating research that will improve treatments and quality of life for patients.
