Andrew Hormann

About Jim:

Andrew came to the Pacific Northwest in the late 90s by way of Oklahoma, eventually settling in Portland as his permanent home. Growing up in Oklahoma, Andrew was a real nature boy, riding horses, cycling, kayaking, fishing, and camping everywhere—including the backyard!

Andrew attended various community colleges over the years, primarily studying philosophy and stagecraft. These days, he spends his time sewing, playing boardgames, and getting out in nature as much as he can.

Arrival at Trinity:

Andrew joined Trinity in 2013 as a part time sexton, and he currently closes the cathedral four days a week.

Fun Fact:

Andrew is a geography wiz kid! He knows the map of all Pacific Northwest public lands by heart, and he can recall any trailhead, park, and campground from memory.
