Susan Lindauer has been joyfully attending Trinity Episcopal Cathedral since 2004, when she moved from Philadelphia. Soon after her arrival to Trinity, she used her experience in developing children and youth programs, to become an active member of Trinity’s former Youth Commission, and now the Family Ministries Commission, until 2012. She was also involved in the development and the leadership of the Family Ministries annual fundraiser, Sauce Off/On since its inception in 2004. She also participated in the Honduras mission trips twice, once in 2008, and in 2010, as a youth mentor. She has also enjoyed volunteering for the annual Thanksgiving and Easter dinners. Susan was raised in Salem/Keizer area. She attended Pacific Lutheran University and graduated with a bachelor in Political Science, and then after year-long travel around the world, she attended Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, and received her dual Masters degrees in Social Service and Law and Social Policy. She is currently the Executive Director of the Children’s Trust Fund of Oregon as of 2011, and prior to that position, served as the Resource Developer for the Oregon Commission on Children and Families since 2004. Susan is also a board member of Oregon Mentors and a council member for the State Library Services and Technology Act. She is also proud to be a board member and an owner of the Lindauer River Ranch, a family-owned and operated dried plum and walnut farm in northern California.
