Children who have participated in communion instruction will celebrate their special communion this morning. Children in first grade or older who have not had formal communion instruction are invited to attend a 4-hour retreat with their parents on either Saturday, January 20 or Saturday, January 27 to prepare for their Special Communion. While many of these children are already receiving communion, this is an opportunity for education around this sacrament. Class is mandatory for participation in the Sunday morning recognition.
Tuesday, February 13, 2018, 5:30 p.m., Kempton Hall.
Join us for a traditional pancake feast as we get ready for the fasting of Lent. We will burn palms from last year to make ashes for Ash Wednesday and make Alleluias to carry into the Cathedral for a short liturgy at about 6:40 p.m. In that liturgy we will hide our Alleluias away before lighting candles to light our way into the growing season of Lent. All are invited.
Saturday, March 10, 2018, 5:30 p.m., Kempton Hall.
You will not want to miss the annual Sauce-On dinner and fundraiser! Trinity chefs show off their culinary skill, while our youth serve and entertain. All proceeds benefit Middle and High School programs and activities.
